Bible Truth #71 - Hebrews 7:25

Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

...because He always lives to intercede for them. This verse blows out of the water the Arminian’s belief of Jesus dying for every soul who ever lived doesn’t it? Either that, or Jesus failed in His intercession for those who ended up in Hell. Who are the “those” and “them” in that verse? Easy, it’s every one who believes! And as I’ve said many, many times, only those whom God has chosen will believe because they are the only ones whom God “works in” to make them believe (John 6:29). God has it rigged!

Everything in the Bible adds up and points toward:
- God choosing whom to save,
- lost man hating God,
- Jesus not failing at anything,
- etc., etc., over and over and over.

The Arminian not seeing the Truth is the same principle that is applied to the lost. The Truth is there, but they reject the Truth as foolishness (because they have not the Holy Spirit) and as such, they WILL receive Justice. We receive mercy... Hallelujah!!!!! The principle? Not that the Arminian is not saved, but that this Truth (God’s sovereignty in Election) has not yet been revealed to him. God decides what informational Truths to reveal, and to whom to reveal them. That is why even the apostles could not understand until AFTER the resurrection when Jesus was present with them one evening AFTER after being joined by the two from Emmaus, when Jesus opened their minds (Luke 24:36-45).

Do not ask me why God has shown some this and has not shown others, there is no way I can explain that. I can tell you one “good” result of it. I have studied the Scripture harder than I ever have before and have written up over 400 of these Bible Truths. Why would the Holy Spirit impress upon me, a layman, one who has no theological schooling, to do this?

Jesus raises up EVERY man God draws (John 6:44), NOT every man who accepts the drawing.
