Jesus will save the whole world from their sins?
Jesus will save every soul who ever lived from their sins?
Jesus will save ALL people from their sins?
NO!
He will save His people from their sins. Who are His people? Answer - Those who were chosen in Him before the foundation of the World (Ephesians 1:4). And who are those? Those who believe! And who will believe? Only those whom God has chosen and given belief. Like Grace, faith, and salvation, belief also is a gift that was GIVEN to us (Philippians 1:29).
Why does God have to make His Elect believe (John 6:29)? Because without God first working in a lost man, he will NEVER believe. Why? Because anything from the Holy Spirit is FOOLISHNESS to a lost man and he can NOT understand it. Why? Because it is spiritually discerned (1 Corinthians 2:14) and the spirit in a lost man is DEAD! (Ephesians 2:1) A man with a dead spirit, i.e. all the lost, can not understand something that is spiritually discerned. Belief, repentance, pleasing God, are all spiritual activities and a lost man does NOTHING in the spirit because his spirit is dead, EVERYTHING he does is in the flesh - and everything NOT done in faith is sin (Romans 14:23).
I praise and thank God and give Him ALL the praise that I’m one of His children (not by my choice - John 1:13). Chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world! (Ephesians 1:4)
