Psalm 138:8
The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your love, O Lord, endures forever-- do not abandon the works of your hands.
Staying with the theme of Bible Truth #188 regarding the Lord fulfilling HIS purpose - it WILL be fulfilled. There is no chance for the creature to insert an if, maybe, but, or except - either in the Scripture or in real life. There is no free will.
We become children of God NOT by human decision. (John 1:13)
