I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars - I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.
First, Christ identifies to John here are some of those He hates, who are an abomination to Him. The Arminian may say, “Huh? What are you talking about? Where does it say anything about Christ hating ANYBODY?” Please read God’s Word in its entirety. In the book of Proverbs 6:16-19, God identifies LIARS as among those He hates. NOT the lies, but the one speaking the lies. In the verse above Christ identifies those who are of the synagogue of Satan as liars.
Then He says He will make them come and fall at the feet of those in the church of Philadelphia. Woah, wait a minute! What happened to man’s free will? Christ will MAKE them come and fall at the feet of those in the church of Philadelphia? Yes, He will MAKE them come, MAKE them fall at the feet of, and MAKE them acknowledge that Christ loved the saints of Philadelphia.
Once again we see that man does not have a free will, that God makes people do things all the time (Philippians 2:13) and will continue to do so even at the end of time as verse 9 above proves.
God is God, man is not. God, and only God, is SOVEREIGN. He's got it rigged.
